The Process

If you are interested in purchasing a puppy from us please fill out our contact page. We’ll then want to get to know you a little better and have a phone conversation. After the phone conversation, you will then have the opportunity to place a deposit on one of our puppies. As the litters’ arrive, you will be given notification. Please note, the order of deposits will determine the order in which you get to choose your puppy. Therefore, promptly submitted deposits, will give you a greater selection.

Once the Litter Arrives

Once the litter arrives, and puppies are healthy and thriving, we announce for any remaining openings. Those on our waiting list who’ve been approved will receive notification first. When puppies are 6 weeks of age, they are chosen in the order that deposits were placed. Deposits can be made directly on the website, under the Puppy Deposit Tab.

**Please note, there’s a fee for using this site. You may use the Venmo account @TammyA-McGinnis to put a deposit or final payment.

Visiting

We frequently update our picture gallery on a regular basis of the puppies. At the 5 weeks of age, we microchip each puppy. Scheduled appointments are made for adopting families to visit our home, and to choose their puppy at 6 weeks of age. Each family is given up to 2 hours to chose their puppy. At this time, we review in detail the paperwork that will be signed at the time puppy is going home. Q & A are addressed at this time, so there’s no misunderstandings. Again, puppies are chosen in the order that deposits were made. Up until this time, puppies are only with mom. At the age of 6 weeks old, they’re introduced to other dogs on the property. Socialization is crucial to their upbringing so they start with their human family and the their parents. Puppies are exposed to young children, (after being chosen by their families) who will handle and play with them with supervision. This is crucial to their upbringing.

Homecoming

At the age of 8 weeks, after the last veterinary examination, the puppies will be able to be united with their fur ever families and stay Forever Golden. Families are given many items to help with the transition, including a mommy blanket, 6 lb. starter bag of Entrust Large Breed Puppy Food (that puppy has been already started on). In addition, 8oz bottles each of Saratoga Aromatherapy shampoo and calming spray (this is made especially for puppies and we use both while the puppy is growing here), a puppy Benebone (the puppy has already been exposed to these), tennis ball, and treats. Lastly, paperwork will be given after signing to take with you. (AKC registration and copies of all parents AKC,(including 3 generation line), OFA,Genetic test results, all veterinary documentation, microchip paperwork and our contract along with the paperwork provided from New York State Agriculture and Markets. Lastly, you’ll receive a receipt showing the payment and sales tax that was transferred for the puppy .
